Jazz Brugge

In 2002, when Bruges held the title of European Capital of Culture, the Concertgebouw of Bruges and KAAP (formerly De Werf) instigated the Jazz Brugge festival. For several editions, the organisation opted for highlighting adventurous and contemporary European jazz.

Using the ‘Crossing Cultures’ moniker, Jazz Brugge nowadays offers a broad variety of exciting cultural meetings, both in terms of geography as well as musical cross-pollination. In november of 2020, the 9th edition will take place, and host another strong selection of artists, like Avishai Cohen Big Vicious, Dave Douglas, Waed Bouhassoun and Michel Portal.
